Yokai Parade Exhibition Opens in Lahore with Free Entry to Supernatural Japanese Artifacts

Lahore: Alhamra Lahore Arts Council is hosting the ‘Yokai Parade: Supernatural Monsters from Japan’ from September 23 to October 3, offering free admission to all visitors. The exhibition showcases a diverse collection of Japanese supernatural entities known as yokai, featuring artifacts ranging from traditional scrolls to modern toys and films.

According to Embassy of Japan In Pakistan, the exhibition is a collaborative effort involving the Japan Foundation, the Embassy of Japan in Pakistan, the Lahore Arts Foundation Trust, and Alhamra – Lahore Arts Council. It aims to provide insights into the mystical yokai culture, celebrating its rich historical significance and influence on both traditional and contemporary Japanese art.
