Yousaf Urges All Stakeholders to Boost Public Awareness on Breastfeeding

Islamabad: Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf has called upon all key stakeholders, particularly religious scholars, to actively participate in raising public awareness about the importance of breastfeeding. Speaking at a ceremony in Islamabad today, the Minister highlighted that both the Holy Quran and Hadith strongly emphasize the practice of breastfeeding, noting its significant benefits for the health of infants.

According to Radio Pakistan, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf further asserted that breastfeeding is a fundamental right of the child and serves as a vital shield against various diseases.
