Youth Found Dead Under Suspicious Circumstances in Ramban, Investigation Underway

Jammu: The body of a 24-year-old youth, Mohammad Muzamil Sheikh, was found under mysterious circumstances in Ramban town of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, sparking an ongoing police investigation.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Ramban police were alerted late last night about a body discovered in Ward No 1. A quick response by the police team led to the recovery and subsequent transfer of the body to the District Hospital’s mortuary for postmortem and identification procedures.

SHO Vijay Kotwal of the Ramban police station confirmed the recovery and identification of Sheikh, a resident of Banihal. He also noted that the body has been released to the deceased’s legal heirs and that a detailed investigation into the circumstances of Sheikh’s death is currently active.
