Zhob: During his visit to the recently inaugurated Rural Health Centre (RHC) on National Highway N-50, Deputy Commissioner Zhob Mehboob Ahmed addressed significant staff absenteeism and the strategic utilization of the old and new health facility buildings. The new RHC location is aimed at better serving nearby villages and providing immediate care for road accident victims.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, “Deputy Commissioner Ahmed expressed dissatisfaction with the staff presence, noting only two members were on duty during his inspection. He directed the District Health Officer to take strict action against absentee staff and demanded a full report.” He highlighted the inadmissibility of neglect in the health sector and assured that essential positions such as Medical Officers and Gynecologists would be staffed to enhance the operational capability of the RHC. The commitment to improve facility staffing and resource allocation was reaffirmed by ensuring all necessary support for the hospital’s full functionality.
