Ziarat Officials Rally Community Support for Upcoming Anti-Polio Campaign

Ziarat: Deputy Commissioner Liaquat Ali Kakar led a key meeting to strategize for the forthcoming anti-polio campaign in Ziarat, emphasizing the critical role of community involvement, including media and civil society, in the campaign’s success. The meeting brought together local government officials and health representatives to consolidate efforts against polio.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Deputy Commissioner Kakar highlighted the importance of widespread participation in the anti-polio drives, noting that the success of the initiative hinges on each child up to five years old receiving vaccinations. He stressed that the failure to vaccinate even a single child could compromise the entire campaign’s effectiveness.

The campaign seeks to engage various community stakeholders to ensure no child is left vulnerable to the debilitating effects of polio. This collective endeavor underscores the local administration’s commitment to eradicating the disease and safeguarding the health of its youngest residents.
