10 outlaws arrested; wine and drugs recovered

Islamabad: Islamabad Police on Wednesday nabbed 10 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered 10 wine bottles, four pistols, looted items worth Rs. 1.6 million from them, a police spokesman said.

According to details, SP Industrial Area Ishaq Warraich constituted special teams of Sabzi Mandi police including SHO Inspector Abdul Majeed, Sub-Inspector Asjad Mehmud, Shafqat Mehmud, ASI Muhammad Ghous, Ishaq and others.

These teams succeeded to arrest four persons identified as Muhammad Khan, Basharat Khan, Riaz, Saddam Hussain and recovered looted items worth Rs. 1.5 million, two pistols and 210 gram hashish from them.

Sub-Inspector Abdul Waheed from Koral police nabbed Imran Tariq for having stolen CNG kit while Sub-Inspector Muhammad Ali from CIA police apprehended a bootlegger Arfaq for having 10 wine bottles.

Shalimar police apprehended Isa Khan for possessing 30 bore pistol while Bhara Kau police nabbed a thief Ishaq Shah.

Police have registered cases under relevant sections and started the further investigation into them. SSP Islamabad Muhammad Yousuf Malik has appreciated this performance and directed to further intensify efforts against anti-social elements.
