2 civilians killed other two injured in Indian Army firing in Badgam

Srinagar, November 03, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, at least two people were killed and two others injured when Indian Army troops at a check post fired at a car in Budgam district on Monday evening.

“Soldiers of 53 RR at the check post in Chattergam area of Budgam fired at the vehicle, which resulted in bullet injuries to four occupants,” police said.

Two people were critically injured and died in the Hospital in Srinagar, while the other two were reportedly battling for life in the hospital’s ICU. Martyred persons are identified as Faizal and Mehraj while the two injured are Zahid and Shakeel.

A senior police official said that they have lodged an FIR and were investigating the matter. Massive protests have erupted in the area against the killing of youth.
