German-Pakistani Research Collaboration Programme Launched


Islamabad: The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) has launched a new scheme entitled “German-Pakistani Research Collaboration” for providing funding to consolidate scientific exchange between former Pakistani scholarship holders and their German host universities, and to support new joint projects. The major objective of the Programme is to establish long-term and sustainable research projects jointly implemented by German and Pakistani universities in selected research fields with an unequivocal impact on teaching. State Bank of Pakistan extends limits under Export Finance Scheme, Islamic Export Refinance Scheme and Long Term Financing Facility Scheme


Islamabad: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has extended the limits sanctioned by banks to individual exporters under Part‐II of the Export Finance Scheme (EFS) /Islamic Export Refinance Scheme (IERS) for the year 2010‐11 up to August 31, 2011.
