Financial results of Shield Corporation Limited for the period ended September 30, 2015

Karachi: Shield Corporation Limited informed Karachi Stock Exchange about the recommendations made by the board of directors in the meeting held at Karachi on October 29, 2015. The agenda of the meeting was discussion of un-audited interim profit and loss account for the Quarter ended September 30, 2015 which portrayed a profit of Rs. 13,751,590 and earnings per share 3.53 basic and diluted. Further, nil payment of cash dividend, bonus shares and right shares was agreed. Shield Corporation Limited was incorporated in Pakistan on January 10, 1975. It manufactures fast moving consumer goods including dental care and baby care products. The operations of the company are ISO 9001: 2008 & 14001: 2004 certified. The shares of the company are quoted on Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad Stock Exchanges in Pakistan. The company has a workforce of more than 118 employees. The registered office of the company is located in Karachi. The symbol “SCL” is being used by the stock exchanges for the shares of Shield Corporation Limited.
