3,300 policemen and their family members got benefit from 3-day free medical camp established at Police Headquarters: Irum Awan

Karachi, January 17, 2016 (PPI-OT): More than 3300 policemen and their family members got benefited from the 3-day free medical camp established at Police HQ Garden. AIG Welfare Irum Awan stated that in a statement issued at the concluding day of the free medical camp, today. The said camp was organised under the directives of IG Sindh G.H. Jamali by Police Department in collaboration with a local hospital. Renowned philanthropist, Imran Abbas extended all out assistance for the successful Establishment of free medical camp.

The AIG Welfare in the statement further disclosed that during the three days of medical camp OPDs for child, heart, kidney, dental, eye, gynae and general diseases were held. “Medicines were also given free of cost to the patients after examination”, she added. She also revealed that as many as 5 patients were referred for cardiac surgery and t heir Angioplasty would be done in South City Hospital free of cost. AIG Welfare thanked the visiting Doctors on behalf of IG Sindh Ghulam Hyder Jamali and Sindh Police, who rendered volunteer services in the camp for three consecutive days.
