61 students selected for china: Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar

Karachi, September 02, 2016 (PPI-OT): Provincial Minister for Education and Literacy Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has said that the relations between Pakistan and China are higher than mountains and deeper than seas and they are getting stronger as the time passes on. This he said as a chief guest in a scholarship letters distribution ceremony to those students who have been selected for getting Chinese Language and bachelor degree education in Chinese universities for five years, here in Sindh Assembly Building on Friday. He said that through this program first the students would get education in China and they were bound to serve in Sindh to teach Chinese to the students at least for five years. These students have done their intermediate from government colleges and belong to Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana, Thatta and Dadu as well.

While addressing the ceremony Mu Yougpeng Vice Consul General China in Karachi said that the Chinese Government Scholarship would provide these students a good opportunity to study not only Chinese language but also philosophy, culture, history, economy and other subjects as well. He further said that both countries were now working together to advance the building of China -Pakistan Economic Corridor and push forward the comprehensive strategic partnership among which education, culture and youth exchange was a vital part and would influence the future of China -Pakistan relations. Secretary Education Dr.Fazlullah Pechuho also spoke on the occasion.
