8 more Covid-19 patients die in IOK, toll reaches 333

Srinagar, July 28, 2020 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, eight more patients who were tested positive for COVID-19 have died since last night, taking the fatality count due to the disease in the territory to 333.

All those who died since last night belonged to the Kashmir Valley. They comprise include a 60-year-old woman from Nowhatta, a 62-year-old man from Batamallo, a 75-year-old man from Noorbagh, an 85 year-old-man from Barzulla area, a 79-year-old man from Habba Kadal, a 72-year-old from Eidgah and a 64-year-old resident from Rangreth area of Srinagar, and a 59-year-old man from DH Pora Kulgam.

With these eight fatalities, 306 people have died from the Kashmir Valley so far due to the coronavirus infection, while the death toll in Jammu division and Ladakh region stood at 23 and four respectively till yesterday night.
