APHC Lauds Pakistan Army Chief’s Support as a Beacon for Kashmiri Aspirations

Srinagar, The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has expressed deep appreciation for Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir’s recent statements on Kashmir, describing them as a significant source of inspiration for Kashmiris in their struggle for self-determination.

According to Kashmir Media Service, during a speech at the passing-out parade of Pakistan Air Force cadets in Risalpur, General Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to providing “moral, political, and diplomatic support” to the Kashmiri people. He criticized the global silence on the issue and highlighted the ongoing challenges faced by the region under Indian control.

APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement from Srinagar, emphasized that General Munir’s remarks send a strong message to India and the international community, asserting the disputed status of Jammu and Kashmir and the necessity for a just resolution. Minhas pointed out that the statement underlines Pakistan’s unwavering support for Kashmiri aspirations towards freedom.

Furthermore, various APHC leaders, including Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori, Adv Arshad Iqbal, and others, have collectively voiced their gratitude toward the Pakistan Army for its steadfast support, viewing it as a vital protector of the Kashmiri people amidst prolonged adversities. They expressed a shared vision of eventual unification with Pakistan, reflecting a longstanding sentiment among many Kashmiris influenced by decades of conflict and political instability in the region.
