JKPL supports call for strike on August 5

Islamabad, July 28, 2020 (PPI-OT): The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League has called upon people to observe 5 August as Black Day since fascist Indian government in violation of international laws took brutal steps to forcibly merge occupied Jammu and Kashmir with India.

JKPL Vice Chairman Aijaz Rehmani in a statement issued in Islamabad while supporting the strike call said that the Kashmiris would register their protest against Indian occupation on the day.

He said that by observing a complete strike on August 5, the people of Kashmir would prove to the Indian authorities that they would not accept the forcible occupation of Kashmir.

Aijaz Rehmani while calling for an early resolution of the Kashmir dispute said that the life of the people of Kashmir had become a hell because of the presence of tens of thousands of Indian occupational troops in the disputed territory.
