Srinagar, February 05, 2023 (PPI-OT):Jammu and Kashmir Awami Action Committee (AAC) has expressed deep grief over the demise of Kashmir’s leading business leader and former Chairman of the United Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation Haji Jan Muhammad Koul. The AAC on behalf of the organisation and its incarcerated Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq paid tributes to Haji Jan Muhammad Koul for his sincere and remarkable contribution to Kashmiri society and traders’ fraternity.
Late Koul was a gentleman possessing strong moral character. He had feelings of great devotion and love towards the Mirwaiz family. The statement said that Mr Koul was also actively involved in the religious and social affairs and in this connection he often had meetings with Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and used to present his opinions regarding various issues.
The AAC expressed condolences and solidarity with the bereaved family members, especially Koul’s son Muhammad Umar Jan.
