Abdullah lifts the curtain on pro-India parties’ dirty politics

Jammu, April 16, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, amid growing attacks by people on his party workers ahead of the so-called elections in the Kashmir Valley, pro-India National Conference patron, Farooq Abdullah, has said that the Peoples Democratic Party was using letterheads of militant organizations to threaten NC workers.

The revelation was made by Farooq Abdullah while addressing a rally at Khan Sahab in Badgam district in connection with the so-called elections. He said that the PDP headed by former Indian Home Minister, Mufti Mohammad Syed, was behind the attack on NC youth leader.

Holding PDP responsible for the “extermination of National Conference workers and leaders right from 1996,” Farooq Abdullah said that PDP had threatened his supporters on the letter pads of militant organizations.

“This party (PDP) defames militant organizations as it uses their letter pads, gets them pasted on walls and poles with an intend to threaten National Conference workers. It is not the job of militants to paste posters on poles and walls,” he said.

Hurriyet leaders commenting on the assertions said that the Farooq had spoken half truth, while the fact was that the statement was the proof as to what sort of politics the pro-India parties had been doing in the territory. They said that they had been killing each other’s men and putting blame on Mujahideen which now Farooq Abdullah had admitted.
