Agha Hassan Condemns Killings in Jammu and Kashmir, Calls for Investigation

Srinagar: Senior leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosavi Al-Safvi, has condemned the killings of civilians Makhan Din and truck driver Waseem Mir in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, Agha Hassan urged for an impartial high-level investigation into the incidents in Kathua and Baramulla districts. He emphasized the need for those responsible to face prosecution and justice.

CPI(M) leader Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami also advocated for a comprehensive inquiry into the truck driver’s death in Baramulla. He highlighted the importance of identifying the perpetrators to ensure justice and expressed concern over the arbitrary arrests of youth in the region. Tarigami warned that such actions could exacerbate the situation and insisted that Indian forces be held accountable for their conduct.
