Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt calls on Finance Minister

Islamabad, January 23, 2014 (PPI-OT): The Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt called on Finance Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar at the Finance Ministry here today. During the meeting issues relating to the funding of development programme of Pakistan Air Force came under discussion. The Finance Minister said that the present government accords topmost priority to national security and shall provide every possible assistance so that they can carry out their duties effectively.

Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt briefed the Finance Minister on the development needs of the Air Force and thanked him for his continued cooperation and support. The meeting was attended by Secretary Finance, Dr. Waqar Masood, Advisor to the Ministry of Finance, Rana Asad Amin and senior officials of the Ministry of Finance and Pakistan Air Force.
