Google for Education Delegation Discusses Educational Tools with Pakistan’s IT Minister

Islamabad, The Google for Education team met with Shaza Fatima Khawaja, the Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication, to discuss the integration of educational tools to help out-of-school children in Pakistan. The meeting emphasized the use of Google’s technologies to close the educational gap and enhance learning accessibility across the country.

According to Press Information Department, the delegation led by Paul Hutchings, Regional Head of Google for Education, and Umar Farooq, CEO of Tech Valley, presented upcoming initiatives that include the deployment of Google’s educational tools and Chromebooks. The Minister highlighted the government’s broader strategy to transform Pakistan into a hub for exports, focusing on the transfer of knowledge and technological capacity building in line with global advancements.
