Ambassador of Republic of Korea Mr. Choong Joo Choi meets Chief Minister Sindh

Karachi: Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Mr. CHOONG JOO CHOI today called on Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah at Chief Minister House. He was accompanied by Consul General of Korea @ Karachi Mr. In Ki Lee.

Chief Minister Sindh welcomed the Ambassador of Korea and said that cordial relations between both countries would further improve day by day. Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that trade and economic ties would also enhance in the larger interest of Government and people of both countries.

Ambassador of Korea thanked for warm welcome and hospitality, and informed that Mirpurkhas – Hyderabad dual carriage way road will be completed upto June 2012 and the same will be inaugurated. He said that the road has been constructed on Public Private Partnership (PPP) basis.

During meeting matters pertaining to mining, other roads, Al-Tuwairqi Steel etc were also discussed. Chief Minister Sindh assured that Sindh government will provide necessary facilities and assistance to the investors so as to enhance economic activities in the province of Sindh.

Later, the Chief Minister Sindh presented traditional gift of KHAIS to the Ambassador of Republic of Korea, who also presented gifts of Korea to the Chief Minister Sindh.
