APHC expresses concern over plight of detainees in jails

Srinagar, March 05, 2023 (PPI-OT): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has expressed serious concern over the miserable plight of illegally detained APHC leaders, activists and youth languishing in hell-like jails of the territory and India.

The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said due to the unavailability of basic facilities including medical care in jails, most of the detainees have developed various ailments. The APHC appealed to the United Nations Human Rights Council, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, International Committee of Red Cross and other human rights bodies to take cognizance of the plight of Kashmiri prisoners and play role in their release.
