APHC leaders pay tributes to Sheikh Aziz

Srinagar, August 11 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leaders and organizations have paid glowing tributes to prominent martyred leader, Sheikh Abdul Aziz on his 5th martyrdom anniversary, today.

Fateha Khawni was held at Martyrs’ Graveyard in Srinagar which was attended by APHC leaders Musaddiq Aadil, Hakeem Abdur Rasheed, Shakeel Bakshi, Javed Ahmad Mir, Syed Basher Andrabi, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, Jaffer Kashmiri, Mohammad Maqbool Sofi and others. Peoples League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza was stopped by police and was not allowed to attend the function.

The leaders reiterated to complete the martyr’s mission. On the other hand, APHC leader and Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement, Zafar Akbar Butt, who continues to be under house arrest since Thursday, in a statement also paid tributes to the martyred leader and other martyrs of 2008 and 2010 uprisings.

He said that Sheikh Aziz was a bright star in the galaxy of Kashmiri martyrs and would continue to be a symbol of steadfastness.

Zafar Akbar Butt showed deep concern over the prevailing anti-Muslim situation in Jammu, particularly in Kishtwar, He condemned terrorism unleashed by VDC ,BJP,VHP activists.
