Army Chief Urges Students to Contribute to Pakistan’s Progress

Rawalpindi: The Chief of Army Staff, General Syed Asim Munir, has called on students across Pakistan to excel academically in order to contribute to the country’s development. Addressing a gathering of young university and college students in Rawalpindi, he emphasized the vital role of education in shaping the future leaders of the nation.

According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, General Munir applauded the energy, creativity, and innovative spirit of the youth, describing them as the driving force behind Pakistan’s future. During the interaction, he also discussed the challenges posed by the external environment, particularly the ongoing threat of trans-border terrorism.

The Army Chief took the opportunity to commend the Pakistan Army’s commitment to safeguarding the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. He paid tribute to the sacrifices made by the people of Pakistan in combating terrorism and expressed gratitude for their steadfast support of the Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies.

General Munir also stressed the importance of ‘Pakistaniat,’ urging students to appreciate the nation’s history, culture, and values as part of their intellectual growth. He highlighted the need for the youth to embrace these elements to better contribute to society and national progress.
