ASKARI BANK REPORTS LOSS OF SHARE CERTIFICATES

Karachi: Askari Bank Limited (AKBL) has announced a loss of share certificates belonging to shareholder Mrs. Rum Patel, according to details released by CDC Share Registrar Services Limited.

The announcement comes as a follow-up to an earlier notice dated August 22, 2024, in which the bank first reported the incident. The specific certificates lost are numbered 689261 to 689262, corresponding to distinctive numbers 118419831 to 118420020, covering a total of 190 shares.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this update aims to inform and circulate among the members of the Exchange to mitigate any potential misuse of the lost certificates and safeguard the shareholder’s interests.

The bank has taken steps to address the situation and is in the process of issuing duplicate certificates to ensure the shareholder’s rights are maintained without disruption.
