Srinagar, An avalanche in the Jabra area of Handwara, within the Kupwara district of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir, has tragically claimed the life of a young man.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the victim, identified as Ishfaq Ahmad from Monbal Handwara, was caught by the avalanche near Laxmi Post. Despite prompt transport to a nearby hospital, he was declared dead upon arrival. The local police have acknowledged the incident and are in the process of gathering further details.
