Karachi, October 19, 2015 (PPI-OT): Administrator DHA Brig Zubair Ahmed visited DHA City Karachi (DCK) on Super Highway today. He spent a busy day at the project site and saw the ongoing development activities going on in different sectors of DCK on a fast track basis. Later he presided over the DCK Steering Committee Meeting held at the site office.
Administrator directed the DCK consultant and the project team to ensure availability of gas, energy and water in the sector along with development of communal facilities in the area before the sector is opened for construction next year. He also asked them to expedite finalizing the planning and requisite agreements for initiating the projects of Theme Park, Interchange (at DCK entrance on Super Highway), IT Park, Malir Motorway and Organic Farms in DCK.
Earlier Project Director DCK Brig (R) Muhammad Rafique delineated the progress made in the ongoing sector development works. Administrator commended the quality and pace with which various projects were being completed within the stipulated timelines. DCK consultant said that the sectors were being developed as a mini city within DCK with concurrent development of all infrastructural, basic and communal facilities in the area.
