Islamabad, June 09, 2023 (PPI-OT): House Business Advisory Committee (HBAC) of the Senate met here at the Parliament House on Friday. The Committee, presided over by Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, discussed in detail legislative business to be transacted during Session of the Senate particularly the proposed fiscal budget 2023-24.
Besides legislative business, the session would take up discussion on the current situation of important national and international issues. A detailed discussion will take place on the proposed fiscal budget 2023-24 providing senators an opportunity to present proposals and highlight important aspects of the budget.
The meeting was attended by Leader of the Opposition Senator Dr Shahzad Waseem, Senator Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani, Senator Manzoor Ahmed, Senator Muhammad Tahir Bizenjo, Senator Sardar Muhammad Shafeeq Tareen, Senator Mushtaq Ahmad, Senator Haji Hidayatullah, Senator Saleem Mandviwalla, Senator Kamil Ali Agha, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, Federal Minister for Law and Justice, and Secretary Senate Mohammad Qasim Samad Khan was also present.
