Karachi, Chenab Limited has officially announced that its 36th Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on July 17, 2023, at the company’s registered office in Nishatabad, Faisalabad. The meeting will address various important matters, including the approval of financial statements and the appointment of external auditors.
The AGM’s agenda includes several key items of business to be transacted, starting with the confirmation of the minutes of the previous meeting held on January 03, 2023. Shareholders will also consider and approve the company’s annual audited financial statements for the year ended June 30, 2020. These financial statements will be presented along with the auditor’s report prepared by M/s. Yousuf Adil, Chartered Accountants, Faisalabad. The meeting will also include an explanation of the audit observations.
Another crucial matter to be discussed is the appointment of external auditors for the years 2020-21, 2021-22, and 2022-23. The company will propose M/s. RSM Avais Hyder Liaquat Nauman, Chartered Accountants, located at 478-D, Peoples Colony No.1, Faisalabad, as the external auditors. Shareholders will have the opportunity to review and recommend the appointment of the auditors and determine their remuneration.
In addition to the specified agenda items, the AGM will allow shareholders to address any other business that requires the permission of the Chair.
