Chief Secretary Punjab Orders Price Reduction for Bread in Three Districts

Lahore, In a move to alleviate economic pressure on residents, Chief Secretary Punjab Zahid Akhtar Zaman has mandated a price reduction for bread in Jhang, Chiniot, and Kasur. The session also addressed broader governance reforms under the Chief Minister’s Sathra Punjab program, aimed at establishing a new model at the Union Council level. The Chief Secretary encouraged Deputy Commissioners to actively engage in this transformative agenda to effectively address public issues and enhance administrative efficiency. Further updates included a comprehensive review of bread pricing across the province, with detailed statistics on complaint resolutions related to bread pricing inconsistencies.
