Guangzhou: China Mobile showcased its commitment to technological advancement at its Global Partner Conference, introducing four major initiatives across artificial intelligence, international branding, quantum communications, and digital-intelligent living.
Yang Jie, Chairman of China Mobile, addressed attendees with a keynote speech titled “Carbon-Silicon Symbiosis: Co-Creating the AI+ Era,” highlighting the company’s latest strides in innovation. The event, held in Guangzhou, China, marked another year of the conference aimed at presenting the company’s achievements in technological innovation and digital transformation.
China Mobile launched its upgraded “AI+ Action Plan” and the “AI+ Ecological Alliance,” strengthening its position as a key player in AI while collaborating with partners to develop new business models and applications.
Internationally, the introduction of the “CMobile” brand signaled a pivotal move in China Mobile’s global strategy, supported by the “4C” strategic focus on Customer, Cooperation, Creation, and Connection. This was accompanied by a brand renewal and the creation of the International Ecological Alliance.
In quantum communications, the “Light Up 100 Cities” Quantum Test Network and the Quantum Ecological Alliance were announced, aiming to boost industrial collaboration and advance the quantum communication ecosystem in China.
The company also launched “China Mobile AiGou” (Mobile Love Shopping) and the Digital-Intelligent Life Mall Ecological Alliance, designed to create a comprehensive digital-intelligent living platform for over one billion users.
In recent years, China Mobile has accelerated its transformation, focusing on new information infrastructure like dual 100Gbps networks and computing power networks. It has rolled out the “China Mobile AiJia” and “5G Leadership Plan,” promoting AI+ application services and introducing new products for information consumption.
Zong, a subsidiary of China Mobile, plans to leverage these advancements to drive digital transformation in Pakistan. By introducing “Chinese Solutions” and promoting cloud computing, AI, and industry solutions, Zong aims to contribute to a closer China-Pakistan Community of Shared Future.
