China-Pakistan Donkey Industry Forum Kicks Off in Islamabad

Islamabad: The China-Pakistan Donkey Industry Development Forum, under the theme “Creating Opportunities Together, Winning the Future Together,” commenced in Islamabad on Thursday.

According to Radio Pakistan, the event was co-hosted by the China Chamber of Commerce in Pakistan and Sangyang Industrial Group, with guidance from the Chinese Embassy and the Ministry of National Food Security and Research of Pakistan. During the forum, experts and scholars shared their research and insights on various aspects of the donkey industry. This included conservation of donkey genetic resources, healthy breeding techniques, and analysis of industry development in both China and Pakistan.

The forum also explored high-value utilization of donkey by-products, digital transformation within the industry, and strategies for brand building and marketing. Chinese Charg© d’Affaires Mr. Shi Yuanqiang addressed the gathering, emphasizing that cooperation in the donkey industry is crucial not only for agricultural diversification but also as a new entry point for strengthening economic ties between China and Pakistan.

Additionally, several agreements were exchanged during the forum to foster practical cooperation between the two nations.
