Water Flow in Rivers Across Punjab Normal: PDMA

Lahore: Provincial Disaster Management Authority Punjab has announced that water flow in the rivers across the province is normal, and the water level is decreasing rapidly in areas previously affected by floods. According to PDMA spokesperson, the rivers Jhelum, Ravi, Chenab, and Panjnad are reported to be at normal levels.

According to Radio Pakistan, there is moderate flooding at Ganda Singh Wala in the Sutlej river. Additionally, low flood levels persist at Sulemanki and Islam headworks. Despite the overall normalcy, the provincial Chief Minister has instructed district administrations to remain on high alert.

Relief activities continue in the affected areas, with efforts underway to ensure the safety and well-being of residents. The PDMA spokesperson emphasized that these measures are crucial to manage any potential flood-related challenges effectively.
