In Peshawar, cleanliness campaign is in progress on the eve of Eid-ul-Azha to ensure timely disposal of the animal waste in the City.
Water and Sanitation Services Peshawar has arranged essential equipment, machinery and designated spots for deposing the waste during Eid.
More than two thousand and eight hundred sanitary workers are taking part in the cleanliness campaign in Peshawar district.
Similarly, more than three hundred vehicles have been arranged for timely disposal of the waste of sacrificial animals.
Meanwhile, Water and Sanitation Services Company Kohat also cancelled all holidays of its staffers during Eid-ul-Azha to ensure timely disposal of the guts of sacrificial animals.
Meanwhile, a comprehensive cleanliness campaign launched by Gilgit Solid Waste Management Company is continued in Gilgit.
Chief Officer Municipal Corporation Gilgit said that 110 company staff and 40 vehicles are taking part in the cleanliness campaign.
The holidays of the staff have also been cancelled to ensure cleanliness of the city.
