Computer Training course begins for Karachi Metropolitan Corporation employees

Karachi, December 06, 2012 (PPI-OT): KMC Sr. Director Information Technology Masood Alam has said that computer courses under KMC for employees were very beneficial through which progress of various KMC departments improved.

He said this while addressing a certificate distribution ceremony of 48th office automation course held in KMC computer training center. On this occasion the commencement of 49th computer training course for KMC employees was announced.

Director Computer Training Fakhar-ud-din and other officers were also present in the ceremony. Masood Alam said that letters to concerned departments for the employees who had appeared in computer training would be sent to know their current performance after the course.

He said that computer training courses for employees under KMC Information Technology Department had been held in which Office Automation, Web Designing, Advance Excel and Internet Training included. During the two month course the mental capabilities of employees were enhanced according to modern age.

These courses under KMC were being arranged free of cost. KMC departments, administrations of 18 towns, Sindh Building Control Authority, Water and Sewerage Board and other departments participate in these courses.

Director Computer Training Fakhar-ud-din informed that 49th course was being started this month whereas more courses including Advance Excel, Web Designing, Graphics and Internet would be held soon.

The purpose of these courses was to enhance the capabilities of employees according to modern needs. At the end Sr. Director Information and Technology Masood Alam distributed certificates among participants.
