Condolence message of Chinese President Xi Jinping and Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang to Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif

Islamabad, February 02, 2023 (PPI-OT):In a condolence message addressed to Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Chinese President Xi Jinping expressed his condolences to the families of those killed in the terrorist incident in Peshawar on behalf of the Chinese government and people, and for the speedy recovery of the injured. Best wishes have been expressed.

The Chinese President further said in his message that China will continue to support Pakistan in promoting the national action plan against terrorism, maintaining social stability and protecting the security of the people and peace and security in the region and the world. Ready to deepen counter-terrorism cooperation with Pakistan.

Similarly, Chinese Prime Minister Honourable Li Keqiang has also sent a condolence message to Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif over the loss of life in the Peshawar terrorist attack. The Prime Minister has thanked the Chinese President and the Chinese Prime Minister for their expression of solidarity.
