Peshawar, April 27, 2016 (PPI-OT):Corruption free society is key to prosperity. Pakistan has a bright future due to hardworking and zealous youth. These views were expressed have today by Director National Accountability Bureau, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mirza Sultan Muhammad Saleem at a seminar on Anti-Corruption organized by CECOS University, Peshawar in collaboration with NAB, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Highlighting the role of the bureau, Mirza Sultan Muhammad Saleem said that NAB pursues cases of embezzlement in government and other institutions according to law as there is a strict internal system of checks where the law stands supreme. Our mission is corruption free Pakistan and we are optimistic in achievement of the set goals with the support of our youth”, he stated.
Commenting on the adverse implications of corruption, he added that corruption is a cancer for a society which eats into the vital foundation of society and becomes the main cause of all socio-economic evils and injustices. He said that corruption is like paralysis which hampers human happiness and prosperity. He called upon the youth to come forward and collaborate with NAB in the sacred mission of fight against corruption. Additional Director NAB Tariq Khan and vice chancellor of CECOS University Professor Niaz Khattak were also present on the occasion.
