Currency Exchange Rates Fluctuate Amid Economic Uncertainties

Karachi: The latest figures from the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan indicate a shift in currency exchange rates, reflecting ongoing economic uncertainties. According to the data released on November 5, 2025, fluctuations were recorded in several foreign currencies against the local currency.

The US dollar was exchanged between 281.40 and 281.90 rupees, while the euro saw a range between 322.72 and 325.97 rupees. The British pound was traded between 366.10 and 370.45 rupees.

The Japanese yen showed a variation from 1.80 to 1.87 rupees. Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates dirham and the Saudi riyal were exchanged between 76.69 and 77.46 rupees, and 74.95 and 75.57 rupees, respectively.

The interbank rates for the US dollar were reported at 280.86 to 281.06 rupees. These changes underscore the dynamic nature of currency markets amid global economic pressures.

The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan continues to monitor these fluctuations closely, providing timely updates to stakeholders and the public.
