Death anniversary of Reshma observed

The tenth death anniversary of legendary Pakistani folk singer Reshma was observed on Friday.

Reshma was known as the Nightingale of the Desert.

She was born in Rajasthan in 1947.

She was honoured with several national awards, including Sitara-i-Imtiaz and Legends of Pakistan.

She died on this day in 2013 due to throat cancer.
