Delegation of Rawalpindi/Islamabad Tax bar Calls on Honourable Chief Justice of Pakistan

Islamabad: A 12 Member delegation of newly elected members of Rawalpindi/Islamabad Tax Bar Association headed by its President, Agha Mujeeb Ahmed Khan and consisting on other office bearers called on the Honourable Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice. Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary today i.e. 09.02.2012 in Supreme Court Building, Islamabad.

Taking to the delegation his lordship said, “Tax and other Bar Associations are important bodies that play a vital role in dispensation of justice”. The members of the delegation briefed his lordship about the tax bar and informed that new body is elected after every two years. The bar is also member of All Pakistan Tax Bar Association.

The delegation admired his lordship’s commitment, devotion and dedication for the cause of the justice and discussed the issues relating to tax matters. They also praised his lordship’s role for enhancing public confidence in judiciary and admired the measures and the steps taken in National Judicial Policy to provide expeditious and inexpensive justice at doorsteps of litigants by redressing their grievances and granting them relief to settle their disputes.

They expressed the hope that the administration of justice needs his lordship’s leadership and motivation to deliver justice and vowed to standby the judiciary in time of need for the glorious cause of Supremacy of Constitution and thanked the Honourable Chief Justice of Pakistan for sparing time for them.
