Delegations of Karachi Bar and Malir Bar Associations call on Chief Justice of Pakistan

Islamabad: Delegations of Karachi Bar Association and Malir Bar Associations headed by Mr. Mehmood-ul-Hassan and Mr. Muhammad Ashraf Samoo, respective Presidents along with other office bearers called on the Honourable Chief Justice of Pakistan, Mr. Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry today in the Supreme Court Branch Registry Building, Karachi.

2. Talking to the delegations, the Chief Justice said that Bench and the Bar are integral part of same system; they should work hard to provide speedy justice to litigants at their door steps. The members discussed with the Chief Justice issues and matters of interest of the legal/judicial fraternity and thanked the Honourable Chief Justice of Pakistan to spare some time from his pressing schedule to listen to their problems patiently. The problems faced by them in their professional field also came under discussion. They expressed the hope that the administration of justice needs his lordship’s leadership and motivation to deliver justice to the public at large.

3. The delegation of Karachi Bar Association extended invitation to the Honourable Chief Justice of Pakistan to grace the Oath Taking Ceremony of the newly elected Bar as the Chief Guest, which his lordship was pleased to accept.
