Srinagar, June 02, 2023 (PPI-OT): Wurasa-e-Shuhada Jammu and Kashmir has expressed their deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of prominent religious scholar, Hafiz Abdul Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi. Hafiz Abdul Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, was a great commentator of the Quran, a staunch supporter of Jammu and Kashmir’s freedom from Indian illegal occupation and a teacher of many Kashmiri freedom-lovers.
Wurasa-e-Shuhada Jammu and Kashmir in a statement said the services of Hafiz Abdul Salam bin Muhammad in the ongoing Kashmir freedom movement will always be remembered.
He remained engaged in the Kashmir freedom struggle and hundreds of his freedom-loving students sacrificed their lives and thousands of others are still detained in jails. He wrote dozens of books. During a meeting in Srinagar, Fatiha was offered for the departed soul and condolences were extended to the bereaved family.
It should be noted that Hafiz Abdul Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi passed away on May 29 and was buried in Muridke, Pakistan.
