Washington: The World Kashmir Awareness Forum (WKAF), a Washington-based advocacy organization, has launched a digital advertising campaign in the nation’s capital, displaying messages calling on the United Nations to address the issue of self-determination for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, mobile billboard trucks featuring electronic screens displayed messages such as “Indian Forces: Out of Kashmir,” “Freedom for all: Freedom for Kashmir,” and “No Election, No Selection: UN Resolutions Only Solution.” The campaign aims to draw attention to the ongoing conflict in Kashmir and urge international intervention.
Dr. Ghulam Nabi Fai, Chairman of the World Forum for Peace and Justice, emphasized the effectiveness of digital advertising in capturing public attention. The trucks navigated key areas in Washington, including federal buildings and the Indian Embassy, ensuring maximum visibility of their messages.

He stressed the importance of international solidarity with the Kashmiri struggle.
Sardar Zarif Khan, Advisor to the President of Azad Kashmir, and other leaders echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the potential dangers of the Kashmir dispute between two nuclear-armed nations and the urgency of a peaceful solution.
In Sudhnuti, AJK, the Institute of Multi-Track Dialogue, Development, and Diplomatic Studies organized an event in collaboration with Cadet College Palandri to reaffirm Pakistan’s support for the Kashmir struggle.
