District Coordination Officer Karachi review arrangements for Expo Pakistan

Karachi: District Coordination Officer (DCO) Karachi Roshan Ali Shaikh has said on the occasion of “Expo Pakistan” city government will hoist 500 national flags on huge poles that had been erected at various roundabouts and major corridors of the city.

The Expo Pakistan which is scheduled to be held in Karachi Expo Centre from 20 to 23rd October would provide a good opportunity for the city to enhance trade and commercial activities. All the stakeholders will be taken on board for beatification of the city during the expo.

He was addressing a meeting in Civic Centre to review the arrangements made for hosting of Expo Pakistan in a befitting manner.

EDO Works and Services Altaf G. Memon, EDO Municipal Services Dr. Shoukat Zaman, EDO T and C Ateeq Baig, Administrator of Saddar and Jamshed Town, representative of Trade Development Authority of Pakistan were present in the meeting. DCO Roshan Shaikh said Karachi offers huge investment opportunities despite of all odds. Hosting Expo Pakistan was a big honour for us and it is our duty to provide best of facilities to participants and investors. On this occasion, he also issued various directives for beatification of cit. He also directed E and IP Department to prepare a documentary video regarding city of Karachi and screen it on a big screen during the expo.
