DPM Urges Boost in Pakistan-UK Bilateral Trade

London: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has stated that the United Kingdom is a key trading partner of Pakistan, with significant potential to enhance the existing bilateral trade volume of four billion dollars. Addressing a news conference in London, he announced the establishment of a business advisory committee to explore avenues for increasing trade between the two nations.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar provided an overview of his visit to the United Kingdom, where he held meetings with British authorities aimed at strengthening bilateral relations. Discussions also included global and multilateral issues. The Deputy Prime Minister also met with the Secretary General of the Commonwealth to exchange views on matters of mutual interest.

Ishaq Dar emphasized the role of the 1.7 million UK-based Pakistanis in contributing to the development and progress of Britain. Additionally, he reaffirmed that China will remain an iron-clad friend of Pakistan.
