Pakistan and UK Commit to Enhancing Bilateral Cooperation in Key Areas

London: Pakistan and the United Kingdom have reaffirmed their shared commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest. This commitment was expressed at a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and his UK counterpart Angela Rayner in London today.

According to Radio Pakistan, both leaders emphasized the importance of sustained high-level engagement and expressed satisfaction with the positive momentum in relations. This momentum has been driven by close people-to-people ties and growing collaboration across multiple domains.

During the meeting, Ishaq Dar highlighted the contributions of the British Pakistani diaspora to the UK. He underscored Pakistan’s desire to build an inclusive and forward-looking partnership with the United Kingdom. Additionally, he extended an invitation to Deputy Prime Minister Rayner to visit Islamabad at a mutually convenient time.

The meeting provided an opportunity to review the broad-based and longstanding partnership between Pakistan and the United Kingdom, emphasizing the commitment to strengthening ties across various sectors.
