ECC Extends PM’s Relief Package, Recognizes Warehousing and Logistics as Industry

Islamabad: The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet, led by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, has approved the continuation of the Prime Minister’s Relief Package through the Utility Stores Corporation for the current fiscal year, incorporating revised pricing and subsidy structures.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the ECC’s session on Thursday also saw the approval of a proposal from the Ministry of Industries and Production to classify the Warehousing and Logistic Sector as an industry, a move aimed at boosting economic growth and operational efficiency within the sector.
