ECP starts door-to-door survey for voter registration

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has started door-to-door pilot survey to know the reasons and reduce gender gap in voter registration.

Presiding over a meeting in Peshawar, provincial Election Commissioner Sharifullah said the accurate registration of voters and preparation of voter lists is the first and important phase for transparency of elections.

The Provincial Election Commissioner urged the government departments and civil society organizations to help in preparation of accurate voter lists.
