Efforts Underway to Introduce Efficient Irrigation Methods

Islamabad: President of China-Asia-Africa Trade Promotion Office Ms Hao called on First Lady Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari in Islamabad today. Aseefa Bhutto Zardari highlighted that Pakistan, as an agriculture-based economy, could benefit from China’s modern agricultural technologies and expertise.

According to Radio Pakistan, efforts are underway to introduce efficient irrigation methods to minimize water wastage in the agriculture sector. The First Lady acknowledged China’s role as a leading global investor in renewable energy and expressed Pakistan’s interest in promoting cultural, tourism, and educational exchanges between the two countries.

Meanwhile, Ambassador of Ethiopia, Dr Jemal Beker Abdula, paid a farewell call on First Lady Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari in Islamabad. Aseefa Bhutto Zardari acknowledged the Ambassador’s contributions toward enhancing the friendship between Pakistan and Ethiopia.
