Electrocution Claims Life in Bandipora’s Ashtengoo Ghat Village

Srinagar: A local man succumbed to an electric shock in the Ashtengoo Ghat village of Bandipora district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) on Friday morning.

According to Kashmir Media Service, local officials confirmed that Javid Ahmad Mathanji, son of Abdul Sattar Mathanji, received a fatal electric shock near his residence. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.

Police are investigating the incident, and the body will be handed over to the family after medico-legal formalities are completed.
