Exide Pakistan Credits Cash Dividend to Shareholders with Complete Bank Details

Karachi: Exide Pakistan Limited announced the successful electronic crediting of a 100% cash dividend, valued at Rs. 10 per share, to shareholders for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2024. This distribution occurred on August 8, 2024, for shareholders who provided a valid 24-digit IBAN.

In line with the Companies Act, 2017 and the Companies (Distribution of Dividends) Regulations, 2017, the dividend was withheld from shareholders who either submitted incorrect, incomplete, or no bank account details, and/or did not provide a copy of their valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC). According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this measure ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and secures the process of dividend distribution.

Shareholders affected by the withholding are encouraged to contact the company’s share registrars in Karachi with their original CNIC and complete bank details, including IBAN, to receive their entitled dividends.

Shareholders are also advised to circulate this information among their peers to ensure all entitled parties are aware and can take the necessary actions to secure their dividends.
